Workshop ~ 2nd and 3rd November 2019
Alternative Horsemanship Weekend Retreat – Limited spaces.
This workshop aims to develop the peace through which we positively manifest our relationships with horses.
Jo and Kailie have run workshops together for over a decade and work on the principles of peace, mindfulness and trust to build deeper and more connected relationships with horses. This workshop is primarily for non-horse owners wishing to seek further guidance, confidence and understanding of horses. It is a non-riding workshop that will focus on your capacity to lead, self-regulation and quality horsemanship skills in a safe and harmonious environment.
This program will increase your ability to find inner stillness in order to feel the horse, help them balance physically and emotionally, and improve your energetic connection and relationship with horses, people and self.
The ‘Matter of Trust’ Workshop is aimed towards participants attending without a horse. Holistic Equitation will provide the horses, so numbers will be limited to 10 as we design our workshops to be intimate and informative.
This workshop will include discussions and simulation sessions, as well as practical horsemanship lessons with the horses.
• Discover your inner capacity as a horse leader
• Learn how to read the hidden language of horses
• Learn easy to remember strategies you can take to any horse in the future
• Establish a stronger understanding of alternative horsemanship
• Learn how to manage your emotions
• Learn how to influence the horses emotions
• Create mutually safer, more pleasurable interactions
• Gain confidence and overcome nerves and fear
• Get a deeper understanding of life as a horse through simulations
