Riding Lessons are available with Kailie if you own your own horse. Kailie is available for private lessons and will help you explore kinder, safer ways that will assist you in building strong and lasting foundations in all aspects of groundwork and riding.

Kailie spent 10 years studying classical dressage and was also introduced to the thinking behind natural horsemanship. This led Kailie to investigate the many different approaches to horse training which has since led her to combine classical, natural and mindfulness training methods together to develop a strong foundation in teaching people how to be safe, deal with problem behaviours and build sold foundations for riding.

Kailie is always searching for what the best horsemen in any discipline have in common, she found the western and European systems compatible and complimentary, and each has something to offer the other.
Although she had been a successful competitor in dressage, jumping and eventing, she lost interest in competition as she had become more interested in her horse’s performance compared to his daily performance than how any judge might rank her.
One aspect of competition she did appreciate was to be challenged on a new jumping course that someone else had erected.
She found she was competing against her own training rather than against others and that she didn’t need to go to an organized event to do this.
Training people to get more our of themselves and their horses, with an attitude of rapport, has been her primary focus since the age of 19. Most of her time is spent giving private lessons, but she has also held clinics, taught at Pony Clubs and Adult Riding Clubs, judged dressage, jumping and at shows and gymkahnas.
She is always looking to improve her communication with her own horses, as well as with her students and their horses. she see’s understanding horses as a life long mission.
